ISLE OF WIGHT, HAMPSHIRE
SINGLE STORY EXTENSION
A single story rear extension, replacing an existing conservatory. The client wanted better use of internal space and better connection between the interior and exterior social spaces.
The use of a large skylight allowing lots of natural light into the interior spaces creates a sense of spaciousness.
EASTLEIGH, HAMPSHIRE
SINGLE STORY EXTENSION
Working closely with the client, we discussed a number of changes for this detached house in Eastleigh.

Changing the existing garage to a office space, replacing the existing conservatory with a new ground floor extension, whilst reconfiguring the plans to make better use of space.
CHRISTCHURCH, DORSET
GROUND FLOOR EXTENSION & LOFT CONVERSION
The proposal converts the properties loft into new useable spaces. Introducing the large glazed dormer to the front allows the new main bedroom to benefit from natural light and creates a beautiful architectural feature within the room.
BOURNEMOUTH DORSET
OUTBUILDING
Due to the height requirements of the client, this outbuilding required planning permission from the local council.

Whilst simple in design, the client wanted a space which was easily adjustable, fulfilling multiple purposes.
​
The use of large bifold doors and patio area creates a great space for social events.
ANDOVER, HAMPSHIRE
GROUND FLOOR EXTENSION & LOFT CONVERSION
After discussions with the client who wanted extra space in their home, in addition to a previous ground floor extension. We explored the option of a loft conversion.
​
The loft conversion was designed to be in keeping withing the local context and to have minimal impact on the neighbouring properties.
University Projects
This section consists of projects completed whilst at university. These projects were the perfect opportunity to develop my experience of architecture, working in life like scenarios. Developing from a strict brief and considering the needs of the facility, the client, the community and the surrounding context. These projects were the foundation to understanding Architecture and developed core skills such as Modelmaking, Auto CAD, Sketch UP, drawing and other useful creative skills such as In Design and Photoshop.
THE CURIOSITY SHOP
BA UNDERGRADUATE
The brief for this project required us to take an existing building on Poole High Street and propose a design that was considerate of its urban surrounding.

Whilst developing the shop we were challenged with deciding its purpose. It was decided that this shop would create and sell bespoke guitars. Allowing the work to be created on site, and bring business to the local community.
​
The design of the proposal looked at introducing aspects of the guitar into the facade of the building and was an opportunity that was used to create permeability throughout the building.
DANCE SCHOOL
BA UNDERGRADUATE
This project required us to introduce a new medium sized dance school onto Poole high street.
​
The project focuses on the connection between the inside and outside, and various avenues were explored in the development of the programme.
​
Being a dance school, the way a person moves around the facility became an important aspect and the programme was produced to give a person maximum freedom in the way they moved from one space to another.
